Mixing

Pacific Molding offers the advantage of quality control because all operations are performed at one facility. Using the latest computerized molding and testing equipment ensures the highest standard of manufacturing from compounding through finished parts. Pacific Molding's in-house tool and die department maintains customer production tooling and expedites changes or new tooling as required.

Custom Compounding

Pacific Molding will custom compound materials to meet your requirements or use one of our proprietary compounds. We work with most polymers available and maintain a large inventory of raw materials.

Finishing

Pacific Molding will supply molded or trimmed parts according to the customers' requirements. To achieve the best results, trimming is done by hand, mechanical or by cryogenic means.

Assembly and Packaging

Products for industry include a cord and plug assembly which is completely fabricated and molded by Pacific Molding. Special material compounds and processing equipment were developed to meet requirements. Additional products include the molding and packaging of sporting goods for retail distribution.

Compression and Injection Molding

Our capabilities include the bonding of steel, stainless, brass, diecast, phenolic, plastics, cloth and other materials to natural rubbers, nitriles, neoprenes, silicones and many other polymers.
An example is elevator wheels consisting of diecast hubs with synthetic rubber
compound developed by Pacific Molding and bonded to the rim surface. Another example is components for the oil industry which require the bonding of natural rubber to multiple steel and diecast inserts molded into one assembly.

Tool Making and Design

Pacific Molding will assist our customers with tooling and parts design. We work with several local tooling companies who specialize in rubber and plastics molds. We have in-house capabilities to do minor mold changes and repair.
